i have had a look at the kc550 and i would say that its just as good as the viewty. it depends what you want. the thing i have found with lg phones is the video capture in the day is great but the low light shots tend to be a bit dark. the nokia that i have at the moment has great low light capture.
if you want touch screen then i would get the viewty. if you dont then the kc550 would be the choice for you.
hope this helps.
would u say this phone is better than the LG KC 550?
because they are both 5 mega pixels but im not sure whats better
and what video recording is the best out of the two?
thanks
it depends more on how you upload to youtube. i use editting software so i can get the best quality possible. i am not sure what it would be like if you uploaded it straight from your phone. i have found that each make of phone is different in some ways. out of all the models of phones i like the lg the best. i am not sure about the nokia as it has only just come out. also the lg normally has better features.
Your video quality was good on the LG KU990 but what will it look like once it is put on youtube. I need a phone that has the best video capture possible. Do you think it might be the Nokia N97? Please advise.
k850 best
i wouldnt say its the worst. i have tried a about half of the currant 5mp camera phones out at the moment and i think it is one of the best. having said that the n82 and the sony eric c902 look really good. until i can try them i am sticking with the viewty.
the viewty takes the worst photos of the 5mp phone selections right now but takes absolutely the best video and does 120fps, what a plus.
hmm. i have used the samsung g600 and the nokia n95 and i own the lg viewty. the viewty has a qwerty keyboard funtion on it which is helpful. the viewty and the n95 8gb both have large screens which might help. i think that one of these would be good. i think you would need to go into your local store and try them out before you buy. i think that the viewty is still the best all round 5 megapxl camera phone out at the moment and it is cheaper now. but i havent tried the n95 8gb. hope this helps
Hello Chrisc74,
I hope you can advise me. Can you tell me which current 5mg pixel camera phone has the best readable sms text for the poorly sighted.

Virgin mobile charge more for mothly plan, but the good thing is without a contract, you can check out their web for more details.

But if you just use your phone a few times a week, VM has the lowest per minute rate 18c/min. among all prepaid carriers.
because VM is using Sprint PCS network(which is sucks!), you may experience poor receptions in rural areas/buildings/stores,etc.
T-mobile have better coverage than VM.

I use it all the time, and you can do side-by-side comparisons for phones of all brands and service providers, as well as read reviews from people who have actually had the phone.
If you're talking reception-wise…. It depends where you live!!
Phones can be used for car navigation but they are not as accurate as a stand alone device like the Nuvi. Another drawback is the small screen. Nothing beats a dedicated navigation device. Buy the Nuvi.
I'm assuming your trying to sync the entire file. That is, you want the latest version of the file on both systems when you're done.
You MUST have accurate timestamps or you simply can't sync. You can read the time on both platforms to determine what the difference is between the two. Apply this difference to one of the time stamps so you can compare the dates/times on the two files. This isn't entirely trustworthy, but it's the best you can do. Your application could request that the user set the times to be as close as possible to each other.
This procedure assumes you have stored the time that you last synchronized the PC and the phone:
1. If the file on the PDA was changed after the last sync time and the PC file is older than the last sync time, then the PDA file is newer and should be copied to the PC.
2. If the file on the PDA is missing and the file on the PC is older than the last sync time, then it was deleted from the PDA and should be deleted from the PC.
3. If the file on the PDA is missing and the file on the PC is newer than the last sync time, then the PC file is either new or was modified after the PDA file was deleted, so the PC file should be copied to the PDA.
4. If both files are newer than the last sync time you have a conflict and need to ask the user which to keep.
5-7. Repeat steps 1-3 substituting PC for PDA and vice versa.
8. Store the sync time so you have it for next time.
You can apply a similar algorithm to sync the records in a database. You just need to timestamp each record.

Nokia is one of the best phone companies in the world. As for the N95 I have one and it is of the highest quality of phones in the world. It has amazing graphics, memory, sturdiness, compatibility, usage, speed, camera, and design. It also contains special features never before put on phones. Like the ability to play slide shows and videos on your TV using a simple wire. Its bluetooth range is double any phone on the markets. With only the I-phone as its competition this is a world-wide notable phone and truly original one of a kind.
